Separate the game from the currency
Paying in Bitcoin does not by itself change a game’s theoretical return. Check the exact game configuration for RTP and the account terms for how stakes and balances are denominated. A fiat equivalent on screen may only be a conversion display.
Network and operator stages remain separate
A transaction can involve operator approval, a network broadcast, confirmations and an exchange conversion. An “instant crypto payout” claim needs to define which of these stages it measures.
Fees and volatility affect value
Network costs, exchange spreads and asset price changes can affect what a displayed balance is worth. Do not compare a Bitcoin bonus with a dollar bonus using an arbitrary conversion. The rate and time of conversion matter.
Transfers can be difficult to recover
ASIC’s Moneysmart warns about incorrect addresses, transaction fees and the difficulty of recovering crypto sent to scams. Verify the asset and network before any permitted financial transaction; a logo is not enough information.
Crypto does not bypass Australian law
