What RTP actually means
A hypothetical 96% return-to-player figure means the game model returns an average of 96 units for every 100 units wagered over a very large sample. It does not mean that a player who deposits $100 will finish with $96. A deposit and total turnover are different: the same balance can be wagered repeatedly.
RTP is attached to a version
The percentage belongs to a particular game configuration. A familiar title or logo is not enough to verify it. Use the rules or help screen for the exact version. Our game profiles deliberately avoid presenting one percentage as universal when that configuration has not been established.
What volatility tells you
Volatility concerns the spread of results around an average. More variable outcomes can include longer stretches without a meaningful win and occasional larger results. Labels such as low, medium and high are not a standardised promise across different studios.
House edge is a long-run concept
For a simple theoretical model, house edge is 100% minus RTP. With a 96% RTP, the implied edge is 4%. Multiplying turnover by that edge produces an expectation across a large sample, not a session forecast or a spending plan.
The last spin does not make the next one due
For independent random spins, previous losses do not create a debt that the game must repay. The UK Gambling Commission explains that the odds of a current outcome are not changed by preceding wins and losses on random machines.
